As the Project Manager for Chinese campaign ads supporting Mark Farrell and Yes on Prop D 2024, I led the development process from start to finish—overseeing design, copywriting, translation, QA, and final delivery to publishers. I served as point-of-contact between the campaign and publishers, ensuring smooth communication while expediting approvals and payments. Recognizing the need for dedicated leadership, I stepped into this role, leveraging my project management experience to directly elevated the campaign’s outreach to Chinese-speaking communities and amplified its impact.
I personally designed the majority of the print ads and collaborated with campaign staff and Chinese community leaders to craft messaging that resonated with Mandarin- and Cantonese-speaking voters. I managed translations, ensured cultural accuracy, and facilitated ad placements in prominent outlets like SingTao Daily, World Journal, and Wind Newspaper. Additionally, I coordinated the production and release of a Mandarin-language radio ad for a 60-second spot on Bay Area Metro Radio.
